My Honest Bucket List: 31 Things I Wish to Do Before I Die
Updated On:
What would you do if tomorrow was your last day? Here’s my raw, unfiltered bucket list of 31 things I want to experience before I die.

“So, what would you do today if you were about to die tomorrow?”
Yes, my friend asked me this question last week when we were just hanging around in my car, and I laughed it off. But tbh, the question followed me home.

So I did what any rational person would do at 1 AM. I grabbed a notebook and started writing. Not a neat list, but a chaotic brain dump of dreams, big and small. And it felt amazing.
I’m sharing my list because maybe it’ll inspire yours. Or maybe you’ll see something and think, “YES! I want that too!”
So here’s my honest, completely unfiltered bucket list. The things I want to do before my time’s up. No regrets, right?
I Want To…
1. Prove. Them. Wrong.
I hear all those whispers about my online business failing. My relatives think blogging isn’t “real work.” My friends are just waiting for me to give up. But their doubt just pushes me harder. One day, I’ll make it big, and the look on their faces will be worth every late night I’ve put in.

2. Learn How to Talk Life Lightly
I take everything way too seriously. I have to get something done? I’ll think about it for days. I make a tiny mistake? Mental torture for weeks. I need to learn how to let things go before I stress myself to death.
3. Skydive at Palm Jumeirah
Jumping out of a plane over that amazing palm-shaped island? My stomach does flips just thinking about it! I’m not super scared of heights, but that moment when you have to actually jump? That’s the kind of scary-but-exciting thrill I want to feel at least once.
4. See a Shooting Star

I’ve lived my whole life in a city with so much light pollution that I’ve never seen a shooting star. Not even once! I really want to know what it feels like to spot that quick flash of light racing across the night sky.
5. Earn a Shit Load of Money so That I Can Afford Literally Anything for My Family
I want to be rich enough that when my mom points at something, I can just say “Get it” without even looking at the price. No budget talks. No hesitation. Just watching her face light up when she realizes she can have whatever she wants. That’s my kind of success.
6. Build Rock-Solid Businesses
The thought of sitting in an office cubicle for 40 years makes me want to run for the hills. Working for someone else just isn’t in my DNA. I need to build my own businesses that make money even when I’m not working. Creating something from scratch is what gets me excited.
7. Get My Dream Car
I’m a total car freak, and that classic black Mustang has been my wallpaper since forever. Haven’t even bought my first car yet (because adulting is expensive), but someday, that growling engine and sleek black paint job will be sitting in my driveway. I can already hear myself revving it. 😁
8. Build My Dream Home
I can see my perfect house so clearly – it’s not too big or too small. It has solar panels on the roof, a nice driveway for my cars, and big windows to let in lots of sunlight. I want a place that feels comfortable but also shows off who I am.
9. Get Married to the Love of My Life
Six years together, and I still get excited when my girlfriend texts me. Through college stress, career drama, and all those growing pains, we’ve stuck together. She’s seen all my weird sides and still wants to hang around. She’s the one I want by my side for life.
10. Stay in an Overwater Bungalow in Bora Bora
Those little huts sitting right on top of the clearest blue water? That’s not just a vacation, that’s paradise. I love nice places to stay, and waking up to see fish swimming under your floor has to be the coolest experience ever. It’s definitely on my must-do list.
11. Become the Best Ever Friend, Brother, Son, and Partner
The people closest to me matter more than anything. If I win at everything else but fail with my family and friends, I’ve failed at life. I want to be someone they can always count on. The friend who shows up, the brother who cares, the son who makes his mom proud, and the partner who’s truly there.
12. Give a Grand Surprise to My Partner

My girlfriend has done so much for me over the years. She’s always been there when I needed her. I want to plan something huge that will make her feel super special. A surprise that she’ll remember forever and tell everyone about for years to come.
13. Host a Giant Reunion for All My Scattered Friends
I miss seeing my old friends in person instead of just chatting online. I want to get everyone together in one place, no matter where they live now, and bring back the fun of just hanging out like we used to. Good food, lots of laughs, and catching up face-to-face.
14. Go on a No Smartphones Trip With My Friends
I’m hell-tired of trips where everyone is just taking photos or checking their phones. I want us to actually talk to each other and enjoy the place we’re visiting. Just one trip with no phones. Just us making real memories that we’ll remember because we were fully there.
15. Build a Really Strong Community of People Who Would Support Each Other

I started Uprisehigh because I wanted to create a place where people truly help each other. Not just another online group, but a real community where nobody feels alone. I’m still working on this dream, but I know someday, I’ll make it happen.
16. Give a Meaningful Gift to Every Person Who Contributed to My Life
Many people have helped me and my family over the years. I want to find each one and give them something special that shows I remember what they did for us. Not just any gift, but one that says, “I know how you helped me, and I never forgot it.” It’s my way of saying thanks.
17. Make Someone’s Dream Come True
Life isn’t just about my own dreams. I want to help someone else achieve something they’ve always wanted too. Maybe paying for someone’s school, helping them start a business, or even something small but important to them. I want to be the person who steps up and makes it happen.
18. Write a Book

I love writing on my blog, but a whole book feels like the next big step. I’m not sure what I’ll write about yet, but the idea of seeing my name on a real book cover gives me butterflies. It seems like such a huge challenge, but one I’d love to try someday.
19. Reach the Right People Through My Words
I know my blog could help more people if it reached them. I don’t just want more readers. I want to reach the people who really need what I’m saying. Those who might feel stuck or confused, and could find some answers in my posts. I want my words to find the people who need them most.
20. Create Something That Outlives Me
Maybe it’s my business, maybe it’s the community I dream of building, or maybe something I haven’t thought of yet. Whatever it is, I want to leave something good behind that keeps helping people for years to come.
21. Live a Digital Nomad Lifestyle
I dream about working from different places around the world. One month at a beach, next month in a mountain cabin, and the month after that in a busy city. Just me, my laptop, and new places to explore after work hours. No fixed office, no daily commute. Just the freedom to call anywhere home while still doing my work.
22. Learn Martial Arts
This has been on my list forever, but somehow, life always gets in the way. I still haven’t given up on the thought of learning how to properly defend myself and move with that kind of control and power. Not just the basics either. I want to get really good at it.
23. Do Scuba Diving
I still get a little scared in deep water. I’ve done some water activities like parasailing and snorkeling, but I haven’t tried scuba diving properly yet. I had a chance once, but the duration was too short. I want to do it somewhere amazing where I can spend at least an hour underwater, really exploring and seeing all the colorful fish and coral.
24. Create a Jaw-Dropping Physique (Naturally)
I respect anyone who has a great physique, no matter how they achieved it. But for me, I want to build my body the natural way. No shortcuts. Just hard work, good food, and patience. I’m aiming for that lean look – less than 20% body fat with enough muscle to fill out a t-shirt just right. Not huge, just fit enough to turn heads when I walk in.
25. Go on a Super Long, Scenic Road Trip
Road trips bring me so much joy! The music, the snacks, the random stops, and those deep talks you only have in cars. I’ve done trips that last a day, but I want to go on a massive one that lasts 2-3 days. Just driving through beautiful places, staying in small towns along the way, and making memories that will last forever.
26. Travel to a Lot of New Places With My Family
My mom loves traveling and taking photos, but she couldn’t do much of it when we were kids. Now, I want to take her everywhere so she can see new places and have lots of pictures to show her friends. I smile thinking about her picking the perfect WhatsApp profile picture from all her vacation photos. She deserves to enjoy these trips now.
27. Visit All 7 Continents
I don’t want to stay in just one part of the world. I want to see it all – the food, the people, the buildings, the nature. From the busy cities in Asia to the ice of Antarctica, I want to walk on every continent and learn how people live differently around the world.
28. Watch the Northern Lights
Those mesmerizing green and purple lights dancing across the night sky in Norway? Just the thought gives me goosebumps.
Pictures and videos don’t do them justice. I want to stand there in the cold, looking up with my own eyes, holding my partner’s hand, and watching one of nature’s most beautiful shows.
29. See the Cherry Blossoms in Japan
Those trees full of pink flowers that bloom for just a few weeks each year look like something from a fairy tale. I want to walk under them as petals float down around me.
30. Kayak on a Bioluminescent Beach
I’ve done kayaking in backwaters, but doing it at night in Andaman where the water glows blue with every splash? That’s next level. I can already imagine dipping my hand in the water and watching it light up like magic around my fingers.
31. Leave a Very Very Strong Impression on the Mind of Every Person I Meet

Before my time is up, I want to be remembered well by everyone who knew me – as someone funny, determined, and kind. I don’t want to be forgotten or remembered in a bad way. I want people to smile when they think of me, tell stories about me, and feel glad they knew me.
So, That’s My List…
Wow, that was a lot, right? If you’ve read this far, thank you for sticking with my rambling dreams and goals. This list might change as I grow older (and hopefully wiser), but these are the things that have struck me so far.
Life is short and unpredictable. That car conversation with my friend reminded me that we don’t always get tomorrow. So I’m trying to be a bit braver about what I want, and a lot more honest about going after it.
Did any of these items inspire you? Or do you have something on your own bucket list that I should consider adding to mine? Drop a comment below. I’d love to hear what makes your heart race a little faster too!
